About Us
VotingBloc.org was established in Massachusetts in 2006 to give voters a stronger and more influential voice in government. Currently lobbyists and special interest groups maintain a disproportionate amount of influence over our policy making process and our government.
If we, as citizens, allow our democracy to be exploited by a powerful few then the ability of government to work in the people's best interest is greatly weakened. By organizing our votes we can hold our elected officials more accountable to the issues important to us, promote better government, and strengthen our democracy.
We are a non-partisan network and encourage the support and participation of all concerned citizens. If you would like to start a new voting bloc in support of an issue important to you please email us. We prefer to establish blocs in support of issues that are widely supported by the
people but are being ignored by government as a result of opposing influences from lobbyists and special interests.
